• New: Planning tab. A dedicated space to prepare your next job before you log it — split into Shopping List and To-Do.
• Shopping List. Track parts, fluids and tools you plan to buy, with quantity, unit, estimated price, supplier and priority. Mark items as purchased to promote them straight into Inventory (or top up an existing item).
• To-Do. Plan upcoming maintenance jobs with target date, target mileage and priority. When the work is done, log it as a full Maintenance Event in one tap — mileage is bumped automatically if higher.
• Companion sync. Both lists sync bidirectionally with the iPhone companion over Bonjour, and are included in the full backup file.
• Companion editing. Shopping List and To-Do are fully editable from the iPhone: add, edit, mark done or purchased, delete — all synced back to the Mac.
